Sexual Health IN-PRACTICE is an introductory resource for nurses and healthcare workers within primary care settings. Consisting of six key sexual health-related topic areas, each topic is supported by a mix of activities, resources and tools for applying sexual health theory in practice.

The provision of all courses at the Higher Education Institutes' Schools of Health and Social Care is available free of charge to Practice Nurses in Oxfordshire (basically anything at Brookes or Reading that sits within schools of healthcare)

Practice nurses may access everything in the PCT Learning Directory for a standing charge of £100/whole day, £50/half except where separate charges are made for specific courses

NESC is funding a year long pilot General Practice Nurse (GPN) foundation programme for 12 nurses who have never worked in General Practice before. We are hoping to put on a practice nurse conference later this year/early next year - information will be posted on this website

Some of these are free to access as we have paid through the SHA

Practice nurses may like to consider things like the e-learning on BMJ as specific practice nurse modules (as well as practice manger ones)
