Oxfordshire Primary Care Learning - August 2010

Overview of requirements

Unit Four : Education and professional development from a general practice employer’s perspective

Courses

The provision of all courses at the Higher Education Institutes’  Schools of Health and Social Care is currently free of charge to Practice Nurses in Oxfordshire (basically anything at Brookes or Reading that sits within schools of healthcare) – however this may change soon (funding wise) due to the cuts in educational budgets

Practice nurses may access everything in the PCT Learning Directory for a standing charge of £100/whole day, £50/half except where separate charges are made for specific courses. The PCT learning directory can be found on Oxweb and on the PCT intranet
