You
can follow this course anytime at work or home.
- The package will take anywhere
between 1.5 and 3 hours to do. Stick to the core parts and leave exploring
the additional learning points until later.
- The assessment is stretching,
but the passmark is 45%. There are grades above and below the passmark,
A, B, C, D, E - with C being a pass.
- You can retake the course
and final assessment as many times as you need to, outside of work hours.
There is a feedback form to print off and fill out which you can return
to your line manager.
Your
pc will need the following specifications to launch the e-learning programme
(all County Council PCs should have these requirements):
- The minimum PC processor
speed is 600Mhz with 64Mb of RAM, running Windows 2000, NT or XP.
- 1024 x 768 screen resolution,
running in thousands or millions of colours
- It should be able to play
audio, Flash 8 and FLV video using IE 5.5 or later. The full narrated text
is also displayed on-screen for those without audio, or those who opt to
turn audio 'off'.

the organisation is Oxford Radcliffe Hospitals or OBMH, you will
need to add a new Secondary Organisation) – NOT COUNTY COUNCIL

Staff
- Go to http://www.careandhealthlaw.com/LMS_System/welcome.asp ,
or choose the link from the Mental Capacity Page on the Intranet http://intranet.oxfordshire.gov.uk/links/intranet/mentalcapacityact
- Select Oxfordshire County Council
from the drop down list, then click “proceed”
- Go down the page to the area entitled “Select
your Top Tier Organisation”
- For staff doing this for the first time
you will need to add your name, and select your work area from the User
group (there is a link below for further guidance on this if needed)
- Enter the PassCode 12739,
and click on “Add details”
- On the next page select “Login”
You will be redirected
back to the start page so repeat steps 1 to 4
- Select your name from the list, re-enter
the passcode from step 6 and click on “Login”
- Click on “Launch
Course” and wait for the course to load
- Important: You
will need to select either “Proceed Without Sound” or “Proceed
With Sound” from the top of the screen. If you don’t
select an option you cannot proceed with the course
- A message will appear at the top of the
screen saying “If you have not used this program before, please
click on ‘Introduction’. Otherwise click ‘start’.”
- Whichever you select, you will need to
click on “Show Menu” to access the different areas of the course
For
organisations setting this up for the first time (unless the organisation
is Oxford Radcliffe Hospitals or

:
- Go to http://www.one10.net/bs/welcome.asp
- Go to the “Top Tier Organisation
Administration” link on the left-hand side of the page.
- Select Oxfordshire County Council
from the drop-down list, enter the admin password 32682 and
click “login”
- Go down the page until you find the area
entitled “Add a new Secondary Organisation”
- You will need to add the name of your
organisation, and say “Yes” in each of the other two boxes,
then click on “Submit”
For
your staff:
- Go to http://www.one10.net/bs/welcome.asp
- Select Oxfordshire County Council
from the drop down list, then click “proceed”
- Go down the page to the section entitled “Select
your Secondary Organisation”
- Click on “View staff at this org”
- For staff doing this for the first time
you will need to add your name, and select your work area from the User
group (there is a link below for further guidance on this if needed)
- Enter the PassCode 70942,
and click on “Add details”
- On the next page select “Login”
You will be redirected
back to the start page so repeat steps 1 to 4
- Select your name from the list, re-enter
the passcode from step 6 and click on “Login”
- Click on “Launch
Course” and wait for the course to load
