What is Continuing Professional Development?

Continuing Professional Development is the systematic maintenance and improvement, of knowledge, skills and competence, and the enhancement of learning undertaken by an individual throughout his or her working life. (CPD Institute)

What is the role of CPD Tutors?

CPD Tutors are employed by the Oxford Deanery to support all individuals working in primary care with CPD.

What does the CPD Tutor do?

• Provide information, advice, education and support for the implementation of revalidation in NHS Berkshire West
  
  
• Facilitate high quality education programmes
  
  
• Support for the GP appraisal process in NHS Berkshire West, providing advice support and education

Who are the CPD Tutors?

Maggie Woods and Ros Crowder are the CPD Tutors for NHS Berkshire West

Any GPs or practice staff who have specific learning needs are invited to contact the CPD Tutors for support and/or information
